A valuable part of the Rosenthal Wealth Management team since 2004, Deana’s collaborative approach combines evidence-driven investment management and financial plans with an understanding of the unique personal and financial needs of every client.
Driven by Rosenthal’s core belief that everyone, regardless of income level, deserves the confidence of a solid financial plan, Deana works with clients from all industries. She has specialized knowledge in federal employee benefits and, as a Certified Financial Planner® Professional, partners with her clients through the entire financial planning process, from setting financial goals and identifying income streams to estate planning.
Deana also specializes in helping women investors— mothers, professionals, divorcees, and widows—navigate the financial planning process. “It’s gratifying to help women from all walks of life organize, grow and protect their assets as they face some of life’s biggest milestones and challenges,” she says.
Deana launched her professional career at American Express Financial Advisors in 1998, then joined Morgan Stanley in 2002. She earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, the industry’s “gold standard” credential, from Georgetown University while balancing a full-time career and family.
She can often be heard on SiriusXM’s Family Talk channel (131), speaking on a variety of financial planning topics. Her experience and advice have also been featured in such leading print and online publications such as Forbes, Better Homes & Gardens, LearnVest.com, SmartMoney.com, FoxBusiness.com and Bankrate.com. She has guest lectured for several private and public organizations on financial and retirement issues.
A Tennessee native, Deana and her family now call Northern Virginia home. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, photography, playing piano, singing and traveling.
